Introduction and Road Map

Mind, ideas, and information are essential for a brighter future. The intellectual economy is

recognized as the pinnacle of post-industrial economic growth, linking people and economy

via mind and intellect. Intellectual services can be the primary source of production and

human growth, but what if they are unattainable due to a variety of obstacles preventing their

significant rise and change in the Philippine economy? Like the COVID 19 outbreak and rising

proportion of demand that continues to bring nightmare and darkness to the Philippine

economy. That is why we are proposing to you an enhanced and revised economic recovery

strategy that focuses on the Intellectual Service Sector. And how it may benefit the Philippine

economy by allowing this sector to prosper and grow in power. This economic recovery plan

also considers what we can do and modify in terms of knowledge and intellectual service for

the welfare and improvement of Filipinos. As a result, this boosting and improving of this

particular sector by innovating its intellectual and technical ambitions into reality to produce

a bright, futuristic, livable, and more advanced economy.

A new phase and newly created pillars within the Plan can assist the Government in

continuing to invest in its researchers and inventors with a higher quality of education,

resources, and government support, creating a strong influence and a broader scope of

Intellectual service not only in the Philippines but also in other parts of the Globe, and finally

reforming that enhances our capability and long-term capacity for growth.

Big Ambition for a Better Future, the Neda and its plan Ugma Pilipinas are looking for more

inventive and futuristic intellectual and technology developments that can last for 10 - 20

years, with its own pathway that can aid the Intellectual Service has its own method for

growth and power. Increasing technical and intellectual development by 30%, enhancing

the lives of all Filipinos, and generating new chances for white-collar occupations,

particularly for researchers and innovators.

Finally, a continuous expansion of our economy, particularly in the intellectual sector, shifting

from light to heavy industries and to a higher degree of processing and production -

government investment and technical support, creating new jobs and opportunities - having

a program that can guide Filipinos and future researchers to be knowledgeable about

technology and intellectual service - Embracing these transitions will also open up significant

new opportunities for businesses and jobs having the new stage of recovery and renewal.

Approach and Road Map

The road map highlights key milestones and events in our strategy for aligning our efforts.

Economy for recovery, rejuvenation, and long-term growth

Together with UGMA Pilipinas: Intellectual and Technological Innovation for a Brighter
Philippines, the NEDA will continue to develop ongoing, coordinated, and fully integrated
socioeconomic policies, plans, and programs to enable and empower every Filipino to enjoy
a matatag, maginhawa, and panatag na buhay.
Economic and employment development are not ends in themselves, but rather foster wider
well-being, including social and environmental improvement. Learning from the well-being
of others, including social and environmental improvement. Learning from some of the
crisis's beneficial lessons helps guarantee that all regions and sectors of society benefit when
the economy recovers.
This Economic Recovery Plan is divided into four Pillars that work together to create a
brighter, more inventive, and forward-thinking Intellectual and Technological advancement.
Pillar 1: ALAM Program
Pillar 2: The Creation of “Bureau of Intellectual Service”
Pillar 3: Reviving and Upgrading the NRCP into “National Analysis Advocate of
The Philippines”
Pillar 4: Shifting from light to heavy industries and to a Higher degree of
processing and production
Pillar 5: Investment for adaptation and recreation

Pillar 1: ALAM Program
The ALAM Program is a program delivered by the Institution UGMA Pilipinas It
strives to give necessary and relevant experience before entering the
intellectual service business; It is an education curriculum that intends to
educate about topics in the intellectual service business and gathers
students who will be able to utilize what they have learned by the time they
leave school. in this business and to assist our country in developing our
technologies via their inventions or improvements, as well as comprehensive
adjustment of other equipment to make it easier and have more capabilities
than its previous version, and to raise its market sale compared to previously
which is the S4C or Science for change created by the Department of
Science and Technology.
The DOST can greatly accelerate STI in the country and cause a major rise in
investment in S&T Human Resource Development and R&D, particularly in
the Intellectual Service sector, by implementing the Science for Change
Program (S4CP) and upgrading it to the ALAM Program. The ALAM
PROGRAM was established with the goal of training inventors and educating
young students to become future inventors. The main goal of this program is
to develop not only technical skills but also critical thinking skills.
Similar to the CRADLE Initiative, Beneficiary-companies under this program
must give at least 20% counterpart investment and agree to using the
technology that will be created. In our opinion, concentrating on local
companies and the government will aid in supporting research and invention
at various educational institutions, resulting in a more budget-friendly and
secure system that can safeguard the safety of the government, businesses,
and educational institutions.

LIKHA KO Event

The important milestones of the LIKHA KO Program are availability and
convenience. The connection between businesses and the school
system, similar to the Cradle Program, but more accessible and with a
broader reach into the Philippine educational system, as well as greater
engagement with academe and local businesses to boost
competitiveness and spur innovation. It seeks to strengthen the country's
innovation ecosystem by easing the transition of innovative technologies
from universities and state institutions, as well as research and
development institutes (RDI), to companies - from lab to market.
Another program is featured in the ALAM Program. This is the LIKHA KO
event, a program that is the same as the Cradle Program. This is a crucial and
important event that will occur once every three months for the duration of
their three-year study under the ALAM Program. The LIKHA KO Event is a
competition in which all students must design a one-of-a-kind piece of
equipment that can do one or more things or complete one or more duties.
By the time the defending champion graduates, he or she will most likely
have a Letter of Recommendation and be able to begin working for a firm in
the Intellectual Services Industry. The individual who is crowned champion is
automatically a corporate employee. Since the ALAM program attempts to
teach young innovators, finding instructors who are already versed in such
subjects will be one of the problems. Creating students to scientists into
modern heroes of the society offering various services under the Sector of
Intellectual Service.
